A thought: Math is not a man made thing.
Unlike language, culture, etc, Math is simply the observation of the world. Two plus two is four and the square root of three is Pi regardless of the fact that a human being ever noticed it and wrote it down. If there are aliens out there they use the same math we do because there's only one possible way to do math. (base sets notwithstanding. And even then base 16 math is still universally constant)
Even if we had never existed as a species math would still be a governing force of the universe and always will be.
I just think it's kind of funny. I mean if you went onto the street and asked random people to decided which was Natural and which was an artificial construct of mankind between Math and Language I gotta say that I suspect most people would say language is natural and math is man made when the flop is the reality.
