Videogame AI meets Sentient AI and the Origin of the Universe

So how would a true artificial intelligence view videogame artificial intelligence?

You could make the argument that from the AI's point of view it could be seen as basically murdering retarded children for fun. How? Well in the sense that a sentient AI would be a fully realized self aware program, analog to a fully grown and functioning adult human, while a videogame ai wouldn't even be able to defend itself or really have any understanding of the situation it's in, like if you put a mentally damaged child in the middle of a warzone and said to some other guy with a gun "10,000 for a headshot".

Even worse, since these AI can and will be instantly reproduced adinfinum, on the programmers whim, for one and one only specific intended purpose it'd essentially be farming mindless slaves for pleasure killing. Which is slightly different from farming livestock for food.

Of course I use killing as the example, but would other AI routine be any better? How would you feel if you were walking down the street when you suddenly realized the other people on the street around you aren't really people but rather artificially made mindless automatons like the citizens of any city from Grand Theft Auto? No life, no soul, no purpose, just empty shells who have no choice but to wander semi predetermined loops around the city for as long as they exist. Isn't that how some people describe Hell?

original artist ???
And here we casually make these AI's all the time. Why shouldn't we? But someday when there are computers that think for themselves think about how this might change. Will such things be outlawed? Will primitive artificial intelligences be protected under laws the same way animals have certain legal protection? Will jumping on a Mario Goomba be as disgusting to a sentient AI as stomping on a mouse might be to a person? Will more complex social AI's, like crowd mechanics in open world games, be protected the same way a chimpanzee is from various evils?
Ah but that goes into the whole idea of comparing computer coding to the real world and the idea if we're creating the digital equivalents of life (and I want to make a primitive AI/sentient AI to animal/man comparison here, but since man is an animal as well... actually that makes it work out even better since really the difference between a non-sentient AI and a sentient AI is about the same as the of an animal to a sentient animal aka humans) as well as the environments they live in as well as all the factors that govern it... well isn't that exactly the same as playing god? However our universe was made it's governed by laws and rules, just like the universes we create.

Once man has created these things what's left to do that even God has not? (knock on wood) Maybe our universe is really just the creation of another universe. People say Big Bang all the time, but no one gets where it came from or what was before it. Computer programs are the only things I know where you can get something from nothing (and honestly the first time a AI invents something wholly original then that is the literal manifestation of getting something from nothing. Any program, even a sentient one, is in the end a line of numbers on a spread sheet. Kind of like DNA...) so maybe that's the secret? Our universe was created by (a) being(s) from another universe who used their advance abilities (I don't care if it was God or just really smart lifeforms) to "write" our universe the same way life boils down to automatic execution of what is written in our DNA or any program is just the execution of what's written in their code. Even people are nothing more then the sums of their brain being able to capture and access their experiences and memories in a way that can be associated with their consciousness and needs. Then Big-Bang! The "program", or the equivalent fundamental building blocks you need to have properly lined up in order to create a universe, first being compiled and coming into existence, into something, from nothing. Perhaps some raw materials perhaps, but bare in mind "materials" can be anything as abstract as the image on your TV forming from the "materials" that make up the tv itself. The matter of what the canvas of the universe is, is still unknown of course.

But I'm pretty sure I know the coding. String Theory, though still theoretical, fits that bill very well. If you need to define the language of the universe (and language is nothing but power. In the beginning God Said let their be Light! And there was. Or was it The Word that comes in the beginning? That dude who wrote the bible got it, probably made him a very powerful man too. And when AI's do become sentient where do you think their beginning came from? Their very minds will be nothing more then very complex computer language. We will effectively create life with words, grammar and syntax. A language devised by man that can create things.) then what more perfect a thing then something that is functionally analogous to how music is played?

Oh and what if we could learn to play it?

But I digress. I think I may have technically blasphemed against every religions origin stories as well. Oh well. And no I'm not crazy, just bored and felt like typing out my thoughts.

It's like a Pink Floyd concert and a FFDP concert had an orgy. Yeah.
